Different. By Design.

“Classic” is the guiding principle at Classic Designs. The best designs from the history of furniture and architecture are interpreted by furniture designer and cabinetmaker Matthew Burak, who founded the company in 1995. Balanced proportion and crisp detail are the hallmarks of Matt's work. Mostly, these products are turned table legs and columns, but also include table bases, carved legs, bun feet, corbels, moldings and stair parts. Great product design, crafted by a skilled team of wood workers, is the cornerstone of the company's success.

The products featured in their catalog download are just a sampling of the company's furniture parts and architectural components. These parts are available in variant sizes – width, height, post length, and can be found at their website www.tablelegs.com, along with their complete line of products, including new mid-century modern legs, stair balusters, newel posts, and an expanded selection of long post legs.

Classic Designs is proud of their Made in USA track record. “All our designs are exclusive to us, and 98% of what we sell is made right here in our Vermont wood shop,” Burak says. “This gives us tremendous flexibility to make parts the way our customers want.”

Custom turning has become an integral part of their business. Classic Designs offers both modified and full custom turning services. They boast a skilled team of designers and CAD specialists who can take any job from concept to quality turning.

All parts are sold ready to finish, and are available in a variety of wood types. The company also offers a distinctive collection of solid brass cabinet hardware. There are no minimums for ordering, and there is a generous mix and match volume discount program. A knowledgeable, friendly customer service team is available to assist with your orders and inquiries.
